Ice sculptures

In a previous post, I have spoken about the deep uneasy feeling I have when confronted to the emergence of beauty in the middle of tragedies.  When a negative event produces what seems such inappropriate appearance of beauty, I feel I should not look, that it is sinful to like what I see, but yet I am attracted to those images.

Some days ago, while visiting Damn Cool Pics, I happened upon photographies of the frost destroying the harvest of oranges in Florida. Though I have an idea of the impact such a loss can have on people already striken by depression, I can not help but to be fascinated by those pictures.
